Pete just missed riding away from two backroll attempts and then followed up with a somewhat spastic Mexican backroll-slash-180 and landed terribly wrong.

I just learned to surf. I am pretty good at it. I could have done it without this guide I just bought. I really suggest you take a look at it: Click Here.

Just over 8 weeks ago i ripped my frontal knee ligament (acl) with my back-roll attempt…

Now looking at reconstructive surgery and 9 to 12 months recovery before i can try again…

@savage147 What exactly do you mean? You’ve got me scared because my bindings have hinges.

Dude. The second was was beautiful. He landed it, but for some reason he sat back when he landed. Why did he do that? He couldve easily stood up and rode off.

@saxkid07- I just broke and tore all ligaments in left ankle doin a raley behind a boat that i had no buisiness throwin that behind (no tower, cheap rope, no sacks, nothing…dumb) didnt have enough pull back and caught frnt edge and turned my riding season into a surfin season lol.

@strikepackagebravo that has got to be the most useless advice ever for this wakeboarder. Proper advice would say that you are over doing the roll abit so just lay of it. And look for your landing dont close your eyes…

ive just spent 2 days at wakeboard school and that is definetly a back roll,, when you go over backwards its actually called a tantrum shows how much you know about wakeboarding

quit cutting hard. you should be able to do this from 8-10 ft out with a smooth(not aggressive cut). If you are trying to cut too hard while learning, expect to raley and spin, then catch a toeside edge to faceplant. Harder cuts come after mastering the technique grasshoppers

well a mexican roll is a type of back roll and is considered a back roll in contest. but definitely not a front flip considering that’s more of a raley cut and not to mention you spin the complete opposite direction

thats not a back roll , a back roll is flipping over backward , your doing a mexican back roll , or front flip ,

cut in from far out and really lean back digging your edge in with your knees bent and then extend really aggressively off the wake. Also make sure you’re not initiating the back roll too early..wait for the wake to throw you into the back roll.

breaking a foot bone while wakeboarding really sucks because you have to force your mangled foot out of the tight-fitting boots
